Turning Competition into Community Impact

At WorldSkills Lyon 2024, IWSH Plumbing Champions collaborated with this global skills competition to provide lasting community benefit. Using materials from the event, apprentices and instructors renovated an aging washroom at a local training center, creating a modern facility for hands-on plumbing education and demonstrating how skilled trades can leave a meaningful legacy beyond the competition floor.

Plumbing Champions Inspire Change

At ISH Frankfurt, IWSH Plumbing Champions showcased the power of collaboration. Young plumbers, mentors, and manufacturers worked together to build sustainable water and heating systems on the trade show floor that were later installed at a local arts center. The project turned a live skills demonstration into lasting community infrastructure, highlighting how plumbing innovation and education advance global sustainability goals.
