World Plumbing Day - March 11
Show Us How Plumbing is Essential
March 11 is World Plumbing Day... every year, everywhere! It is a date that has been celebrated by the international plumbing community since its establishment by the World Plumbing Council in 2010, and is now a fixture on the calendars of political and social institutions across the globe.
The international plumbing community has a vital role in promoting the link between good quality plumbing, environmental sustainability, economic prosperity, public health and hygiene. World Plumbing Day is a vital way to remember, highlight and promote those links.
All through March, IWSH recognizes World Plumbing Day with an international poster competition for children in 1st to 6th grade (Elementary / Primary school age).
Prizes:
- 1st Prize: US $1,000 to the school and US $100 to the student
- 2nd Prize: US $500 to the school and US $50 to the student
- 3rd prize: US $250 to the school and US $25 to the student
Contest Rules and Prizes
How to Enter
Who Can Enter: Children in 1st to 6th grade (Elementary / Primary school age).
What to Enter: An original poster, US Letter size or A4 size, made solely by the entrant, inspired by World Plumbing Day. For 2024, it must feature the wording: PLUMBING IS ESSENTIAL.
How to Enter: ONLY ONE (1) ENTRY PER PERSON IS PERMITTED. To enter, submit one poster with your name, grade level, teacher’s name, school name and school address here.
Teachers may bulk upload up to four entries using this form. For more entries or anyone who prefers an alternative entry method, answer the questions on the form and mail to:

Deadline: Entries must be received by March 30, 2024, 11:59 pm Pacific Time. Winners will be selected by a panel of judges no later than April 30, 2024, and winners will be notified within five (5) working days.
