BECOME A PARTNER OF THE IWSH MOVEMENT TODAY.
IWSH has been creating partnerships in developing regions and throughout the world, creating a bridge between the WASH community joining technical and sustainable expertise that will pave the way to provide permanent in-country assets and skillsets to build upon within each community. These new and exciting CSR-based collaborations with paralleled corporations and organizations will have an immediate impact on communities, and help to fulfill missions of all partners. In particular, the Community Plumbing Challenge presents us with an excellent platform to design and implement mutually-beneficial collaborations with partners.
These projects, like the ongoing Community Plumbing Challenge, an initial World Skills and HealtHabitat collaboration at School 125 in Nashik, India benefitted from washroom enhancement, handwashing facilities, and hygienic education. The goal of this project is to have this system replicated throughout India, as a three-fold system. The local workers are trained and upskilled, the students, teachers and staff have access to enhanced facilities, and partners of the project, like Autodesk, are able to create a unique opportunity to link India PM Modi’s Swacch Bharat Campaign with Digital India and the Indian Smart Cities Initiative: facilitating health and hygiene focused practical actions for a given host community site, but also developing further digital communications, resources and tools with meaningful and creative application for second-level, further education and continuous professional development (CPD) users.
Results, with lasting impact and opportunity for further growth.
